Thank you all. I went through surgery today without any trouble. I now have new ureter stents in my kidneys (they keep the tubes open) and my catheter has been moved to now go through my belly. So... I have yet another hole in me, but I'm excited about the change because this "suprapubic catheter" means less infection and hassle.

Life's still good! Feeling great!

Morgan,

Praying all the time for you. You ARE so brave and I wish there were words to make it all okay. I'll be praying for all the requests that Melissa mentioned (have to say I'm in awe of your sweet sister, too.) You are both so precious. Be well, be well...

I love the dictionary entry, and your picture reminds us of the real definition of bravery. Thank you. Now, when I go to my favorite www.visualthesaurus.com, I almost expect to see your picture show up on one of the endpoints!!

I pray for your surgery tomorrow and your support team. And you have so many others who, even though their (our) lives may go on, you have impacted us and even now you are an inspiration. It's OK not to be brave all the time, but I sure like your commitment to trying.
Always, Lacey

Morgan,

We knew each other as childhood friends. Our brothers and my boyfriend now, knew each other as well. I'm mentioning this only as a common ground reference. I wish and send you comfort. I don't much care what your religious or spiritual beliefs are...mine are simple and ancient...shamanism.

I don't know how to NOT make this sound like some psycho missionary plea, you probably get plenty with your blog and all... agh! gross:( I don't want to offend you or your family but...what the hell... give it a go. It doesn't matter what you believe--- this is basic human knowledge. Find a shaman...and let them/her/him do their work. There is no risk.......period. No belief changes, but certainly possibilities. Just my thoughts and best hopes to you. I give all my very best to you and your lovely wife and your endeared family.

Stay strong Morgan, You really are amazing:) I send you every bit of healing energy that i can.

Jana Davis---grade school pal (Damn facebook:), but of course more so, strong supporter of your recovery:) Peace
