I got to visit with Morgan and Kasha today. They have kept him to watch his low white blood cell count. Yesterday he was at .7, today 1.7 but a normal level is 10.0- 12. They ran blood tests and cultures to check for any infection~ nothing shows up, but still pumping fluids and antibiotic. I had to wear a mask and no little people will be able to join me to visit Uncle Morgan until his counts are back up.
He is in a room that faces North and he has a view of “S” mountain (Sunnyslope) this time. He was in good spirits and we had some fun conversations. He looks so much better, I think he’s on his climb up from chemo. They say it goes in stages… he’ll be up to visit with incoming family (Mark, our youngest brother) and then probably scheduled to do the 2nd round of chemo.
I have always loved and admired Morgan, even more so now. He’s a gentle giant; quietly, graciously, persevering through so much already….
I’m one of his biggest fans. You can do it Morgan! ~ TEAM MORGAN~ Beat Buster!!! ~
