Team Morgan!

February 2nd, 2010 at 7:20pm MST by Melissa

Morgan is resting and we are all still waiting for  answers and slowly processing what we have already been told.

The UTI infection is being treated.  A  new blood clot was found in his right leg, but shouldn’t be an issue.  He already gets a Lovenox shot in the morning and the evening and has a stent  in place.  His pain relief has gotten a little better, he administers Delotid by button when needed.  We are waiting for the pain pump doctors to drain and reload his pump with a new med combo to get things under control again.  He had another MRI this morning, this should show us more of what is going on in there with buster and it’s busterettes.

Damn buster- you really piss me off!  I hate you and if I could deal with you myself you surely wouldn’t make it!   Cancer SuCkS and it rips your world apart!  Your. world. STOPS!!!  heart. breaks!! ..and your life is forever changed!  This journey has taught me to embrace life and live differently.  I was close to my brothers before, but now- even closer and along with Nick, they truly are my best friends.  I have a deeper love and reliance on my God.  My regrets- we didn’t find buster sooner and I didn’t understand or appreciate Morgan’s love for the road earlier.

Team Morgan, we are banding together in thought and prayer.  We need your encouragement and support!  Let’s let out those cheers and send your encouraging words – leave those comments!     : )

    Morgan.

Although I have not posted I have been following your progress by reading every post on all your sites. My heart goes out to you and your family as you so bravely battle this tumor. I am praying for relief from your pain and strength for your family and yourself as you continue this journey.

    God bless and strengthen you,

Thanks, Melissa! Morgan, we are all praying so hard for you. It’s great to hear the results of these mass prayers and loving thoughts. Just knowing that the pain has eased some is a wonderful blessing for all of us to hear. You are always in my heart, on my mind and in my prayers.

that Damn Buster! I wish we could all gang up and beat the tar out of him as well.

I have had many deep conversations with Morgan before the discovery of ‘buster’ and after. It is unfortunate that it takes a life changing event to make us realize the value of each and every day we all have to spend with each other. Try your hardest to focus on the good times even though this is obviously a very trying tough time, every day is precious and a beautiful gift.

Hang in there, Keep your chins up. You are an amazing loving family.

    Morgan,
Michael and I are thinking about you all the time and constantly hope you are pain free. I wish we could choose who gets cancer (horrible criminals) and keep it away from the good people we care about. We wish you the strength and power to fight this enemy. Michael and I have always valued life and your illness has made us appreciate our lives, our family, and our love even more. Thank you for your positive effect on our lives. You are a great person and an inspiration to all of us!
    Love,
    Tanya

    Kasha,
You are my best friend and it hurts me so much to see you suffering also. Remember that only a few people in this world have had the opportunity to experience true love and you and Morgan are fortunate enough to be in that group. Let that love carry you both through these difficult times together.
    I love you,
    Tanya

  7. Jessie says:

When little Jack and I say our prayers each night, we pray that you, where ever you may be, can feel all the love we have for you in your heart. Though you may look around and not see it sometimes, or you are blinded by confusion or pain, you are surrounded by love. Though your head may be filled with questions, your heart has always been filled with love. This has been your gift in the years that we have known you and it will carry on in all those you have touched. It travels down the roads you’ve passed and glows in the eyes of those you’ve met. Morgan, your heart is bigger and stronger than that asshole Buster will ever be.

    Morgan!
Praying continually for you and your family. And that Buster will just get the heck away from you. I pray your pain will be even less today and you can enjoy the day that the Lord has created. He is in control. I pray He gives you strength! Fight on!
    Becky

  9. Aunt Barbara says:

Morgan you are in my prayers daily. I know it must be so very hard fighting buster but when I read your blogs you sound so strong & you have your mind in the right place. Keep fighting, you have so many prayers going out for you…
